Issues Counselling is a business, but it is not oriented towards making a profit. Instead, as a company limited by guarantee, the focus is on providing counselling at the lowest possible cost to clients We could have formed as a charity, but we�ve tried that before and found that it is too restrictive in terms of the management of the organisation. We don�t want to depend on Trustees who have no involvement in the day-to-day operations, nor do we expect our directors to work for free as required by a charity. |

Issues Counselling is a person-centred counselling practice. However that doesn�t mean that other approaches are disdained. We will happily refer clients to counsellors using other approaches, where we feel it would be more appropriate and effective for the client. |
