Quite simple really � we offer counselling using the person-centred approach . We work within the framework of the standards and ethics of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. All counsellors hold professional indemnity insurance, and have been trained professionally. |

Counselling can take place either in the home of the client, in the offices of counsel-it, or in an office local to the client where this is available. Fees for counselling vary depending on which of these is the case, and to a degree also the ability of the client to fund the counselling. In some cases it might be possible to obtain funding either from an employer or charity or other organisation, but generally it is assumed that the client will be self-funding. |

We do not currently offer on-line or telephone counselling, although these methods are being researched as to their effectiveness. We recognise that for some potential clients in remote locations, these might be the only possibilities for them to work with a counsellor. As we work in various locations in the UK and France, it is suggested that potential clients email their enquiry to [email protected] to find out if we can offer a service in that area. |
