| I believe the month was May, I believe the location was my room, I believe the time was around 11pm. One rather hot summers night I had my window open while watching a film they were showing on BBC2. I heard this big big noise and as you can expect is made me jump. It was coming from my window area so naturally I looked in that direction. What I saw I will admit made me jump once again. This giant fucking bug. At the time I had no idea what it was, if it was poisonous, etc. All I knew was that it wouldn't leave my room and it made a hell of a racket. Really it was hella loud. I caught the thing in a cup and chucked it out. But ails it came back. So that was the end of being able to leave my window open. For a few days I could still hear the damn thing smacking right into my window, which was a little unsettling. A few months later I had forgotten about it and left my window open. Again it came into my room, strange as I only saw one at a time. This time I thought I would take a picture of it and see if I could match it up with anything. I was able to and found out it was a maybug. Seemed to match up anyway, looked the same, the site stated that it only came out at night and that it made a lot of noise. To my relief it said it wasn't poisonous, however was a nightmare to any gardener as it literally striped plants down, not being much of a gardener I didn't care much.
