| The following is a list of my
personal five favorite Films. You think any different to me then you've
wrong or an idiot, you choose. My favorite films always change, well aside
from my number one choice, I can't ever see that changing |
|
1. A Clockwork Orange
|
Stanley Kubricks finniest work, made in the 70's set
around now. About a teenager and his gang who like to dress up in white
costumes and go around robbing, beating and raping people. Finally it
catches up with the leader of the gang when he gets set up by his friends
and he gets life in prison. However he gets chosen for experimental
treatment that uses aversion therapy basically meaning every time he
thinks about violent things he fells like he wants to die. Beethoven's 9th
Symphony is used brilliantly in the film

| 2. Full Metal
Jacket |
Indeed another Stanley Kubrick
film, there are to many films about Vietnam, but this must be the best |
| 3. Usual
Suspects |
Very interesting film, not
sure how to explain it...so I won't, very big twist at the end |
| 4. Gangster
No. 1 |
Always liked British Gangster
films and this partial one is probably my favorite |
| 5. Lock Stock
and Two Smoking Barrels |
Brilliant comedy Gangster
film, set in the east end on London about a group of lads who find themselves
owing London's most violent porn king half a million quid when they take a
loan in a poker game and lose. A guy Ritchie film, the first in his three
gangster films, the following one Snatch is good also and the third Menacing
something or other is just awful |
