| The following is a list of my
personal five favorite books. You think any different to me then you've
wrong or an idiot, you choose |
|
1. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
|
The funniest set of books I have ever read. Douglas Adams was quite simply
a genius, if
you haven't read these books you really must. Some truly unique ideas are explored
in the books. I don't really think the book has dated with time, maybe the
digital watch thing is a little dated but apart from that it's timeless. I
won't explain the books as really I can't think of how to.

| 2. Colony |
Rob Grants best work, I wouldn't say this is a massively
unique idea for a story but the descriptions in the book are very funny and is
full of twists. Basically in the future the world finally comes to the
conclusion that we might have a global warming problem when 90% of the
world is covered in water. They build a giant space craft the size of a
city and send earth brightest minds out to find a planet similar to earth
so the human race will continue, but things go wrong, very very very
wrong |
| 3. Beatles Anthology |
Brilliant book, the definitive, I guess the bible
to the Beatles. The anthology DVD's are great but if you are looking for
information instead of rare video clips the books are what you want. |
| 4. Mr. Nice |
The Biography of the worlds most famous Dope
smuggler Howard Marks. Truly enthralling read, really giving a big insight
into his life. |
| 5. Backwards |
Another Rob Grant Book, a Red Dwarf book, so if
you like Ref Dwarf then you will like this. |
